Events and Outings

For posts about past outings, please visit our Outings page.

Troop 104 is active throughout the year, with generally one camping or backpacking trip each month, one or more days of community or environmental service projects , and advancement activities such as merit badges. In July, the troop goes for a week to Camp Wolfeboro, in the Stanislaus National Forest near Bear Valley. We usually have at least one crew of older scouts that attends a high-adventure camp, such as Philmont or Sea Base in the summer, and other scouts on a California backpacking trip. In December, we have a traditional day outing instead of camping because we do several service projects, including assisting with the Shadi holiday display in El Cerrito.
